Valorant Region in Bangladesh: Which Gift Card Works? (2026)

Valorant gift cards are usually locked to one region, so a code only redeems on an account from the same region. That's the main reason players in Bangladesh end up with a code that won't work. Pixel Market BD sells Global Valorant codes, which work on Bangladesh accounts and on accounts from other countries, so you can skip the guesswork and just play.

This guide explains how Valorant regions work, how to check yours, and how to pick a code that will redeem the first time.

Is Valorant region locked?

Yes, in two ways. Your Riot account has a Region of Residence, which decides your servers, your payment options and who you can play with. And Riot locks most prepaid codes to the region where they were sold, so a code from another region won't redeem on your account.

Both rules come from Riot's own support pages:

• Your account region. Riot says your Region of Residence "decides which shards you play on, which payment options you have available to you, and who you can play with."
• Your codes. Riot says you can only redeem cash codes in the region where they were purchased.

So when you buy VP as a gift card, the code has to match your account's region, unless it's a Global code.

What region is a Valorant account from Bangladesh?

A Valorant account made in Bangladesh normally has Bangladesh as its Region of Residence, because the region follows where you live. That region sets which servers you play on, which payment methods Valorant shows you, and which friends you can queue with. A region-locked code must match it.

Things get confusing when an account was made somewhere else. Some players in Bangladesh have accounts registered in Malaysia or another country. Their account region is that country, not Bangladesh, even though they live here.

That's why "BD region" and "Malaysia region" codes are sold side by side in many shops. They are not interchangeable. A Bangladesh-region code won't work on a Malaysia account, and a Malaysia code won't work on a Bangladesh account.

How do you check your Valorant account region?

Open Valorant and click the VP icon beside your balance to see the buying options. The payment methods and the currency shown there follow your account's Region of Residence, so they point to the region your account belongs to. Riot says payment options in an unexpected currency are a sign of a wrong region.

A few more clues help:

• Where you made the account. If you made it while living in Bangladesh, it's almost certainly a Bangladesh account.
• Lag and friends. Riot lists strange lag and not being able to queue with friends as signs of a wrong region.
• Riot's own tool. On Riot's Region of Residence page you can sign in and see whether a change is available for your account.

If you're still not sure, a Global code is the simple answer, because you don't need to know the region at all.

Why won't my Valorant gift card redeem?

The most common reason is a region mismatch: the code was sold for one region and your account is in another. Other causes are a mistyped code, a code already used on another account, or choosing the wrong game on Riot's website. A Global code rules out the region problem.

Go through these in order:

1. Region. Was the code sold for your account's region? A Global code works on any region.
2. Typing. Copy the code instead of typing it. Riot's error "This code does not appear to be valid" usually means a typo.
3. Account. Each code works once. If you have two Riot accounts, check the other one.
4. Game. On shop.riotgames.com/redeem, the game you pick gets the whole code. Choose Valorant.

Should you buy BD region or Malaysia region VP?

Buy the region your account belongs to: a Bangladesh account needs a Bangladesh-region code, and a Malaysia account needs a Malaysia-region code. If you'd rather not worry about it, buy a Global code. Pixel Market BD's Global codes work on both, and on accounts from other countries too.

Price is where people slip up. A Malaysia code can look cheaper than a Bangladesh one, but it's worthless on a Bangladesh account. Always check the region before the price.

When you compare shops, look for three things on the product page:

• The region, stated clearly. "Works on all accounts" with no detail isn't enough.
• How the code is delivered. A code saved in your account is safer than one sent in a chat message.
• What happens if it fails. A real shop tells you how to get help.

What does a Global Valorant gift card mean?

A Global Valorant gift card is a code that isn't tied to one country's store, so it redeems on accounts from different regions. The Valorant codes sold by Pixel Market BD are Global: they work on accounts from Bangladesh and from other countries. You don't need to check your region before you buy.

That makes a Global code the easy choice when:

• you're buying for a friend and don't know their account region;
• your account was made abroad, or you're not sure where;
• you just want the code to work the first time.

If one of our codes ever shows a region error, stop and message us before trying again. We'll check it with you.

Can you change your Valorant region?

Sometimes. Riot has a Region of Residence tool on its support site: you sign in, and it tells you whether your account can be moved. Riot made it for players whose region is wrong, for example because of lag, the wrong currency, or not being able to play with friends.

Keep a few things in mind:

• It isn't a way to use a cheaper code. The tool is for accounts in the wrong region, and not every account is eligible.
• It can affect other Riot games. Riot warns that changing region may reset progress in 2XKO.
• A matching code is easier. Buying a code for your region, or a Global code, avoids the whole process.

How do you buy the right Valorant gift card in Bangladesh?

Buy a Global code, so you don't need to match regions at all. At Pixel Market BD you pick a VP pack, pay with bKash, Nagad, Rocket or Upay, and the code appears in your account as soon as your payment is confirmed. Then redeem it in Valorant through Prepaid Cards & Codes.
